Lyndsey Ward has been part of the color guard community for over a decade, beginning her journey in 2013 with the Blue Springs South High School Color Guard. After graduating in 2017, she continued performing at the collegiate and independent levels, taking the floor with Amethyst Independent Winter Guard (2018), The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps (2019), and City of Fountains Independent (2020).

In 2020, Lyndsey shifted her focus to coaching and returned to her alma mater to join the Blue Springs South staff. She went on to serve as Director of the Junior Varsity Color Guard, where she designed and led multiple productions, including a 2024 show that advanced to 40th place at the WGI World Championships.
