If it is the day of a competition or football game and you have a question, please do your best to get help from fellow parents. Parents with Field Crew or Uniform tshirts on will be knowledgeable and helpful. Band Fees are paid and managed through CutTime. Payments can be made online of by sending a check with your student made out to BSSHS Bands

Limited financial assistance may be available if you are not able to make your band payments in full. We encourage all students and families to take advantage of our many fundraising opportunities to help offset your band fees.

Payment due dates can be found by logging in to your CutTime account and checking which costs are due. You can also see a breakdown of the payment schedule on the Accounts and Payments page. Note, only band students and parents will be given the password to this page.

Uniforms are handled by parent volunteers Angelica Saddler and MaryAnn Lutes. They are present at all games and competitions.

Yes! We encourage our students to take home their instruments to practice.

Blue Springs South High School is not responsible for any loss or damage to student property. Please encourage your student to store their instrument properly.
Uniform fittings are handled throughout the school year, primarily in the spring and summer for marching band and fall for concert band. Rehearsal gear will be distributed to students at the beginning of band camp each summer. School marching uniforms and competitive uniforms will stay at the school and will not travel home with students. At the end of the marching band season, students will be able to keep their uniform top.
