The event has 2 festivals in one day. There is a morning competition that will be a random draw event and bands will be given awards according to school size. There is an evening competition that will be a random draw and be an open class event (similar to a finals). Both events will have a maximum of 16 bands per event. Morning competition trophies will be Class A (1st, 2nd, 3rd, best music, best visual, outstanding effect), Class AA (1st, 2nd, 3rd, best music, best visual, outstanding effect), Class AAA (1st, 2nd, 3rd, best music, best visual, outstanding effect), Class AAAA (1st, 2nd, 3rd, best music, best visual, outstanding effect). The evening show will have places 16, 15, 14 etc. and best music, best visual and outstanding effect. Bands are able to sign up for morning or evening or both shows. Morning show ($200), Evening show ($200), Both shows ($300)
There will be a judges critique between the morning and evening shows for each band staff (7 minutes visual, 7 minutes music).

Weather: The artificial turf, renovated in 2014, will allow the festival to continue regardless of most weather conditions. In the event that the weather is too dangerous to perform outside we will have a stand still performance in the main gym
